This four-day immersive retreat is a romantic midsummer experience for couples… a time to step out of daily life and into the warmth, sensuality and aliveness of the land. Held at the height of summer, close to the solstice, this retreat invites you to slow down together, wander barefoot on the earth, flirt with life again, laugh, touch, rest, and remember why you chose one another.
For over 30 years, I have supported couples from all walks of life to transform their relationships; working deeply with intimacy, sexuality, communication and conflict. This retreat weaves that depth of experience with the lightness and joy of summer, creating a space where love can soften, expand and re-root itself.
This experience is for couples who genuinely want to tend their relationship… whether you are thriving and longing to go deeper, or finding yourselves at a tender edge. The practices and processes offered will meet you exactly where you are, offering simple yet powerful tools that you can take home with you and continue to use long after the retreat ends.
I bring decades of experience supporting couples who find themselves at a threshold; moments where something is changing, breaking open, or asking to be re-imagined. These thresholds may arise through challenge, uncertainty or renewal, yet they are always potent portals for transformation. Within the safety of the retreat container, you will be supported to listen more deeply to what your relationship is asking for now.
This is a retreat for all couples, of all orientations and identities. The methods and teachings I offer are designed for humans, not roles, labels or fixed dynamics. I hold a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by queer couples, and the work is offered in a way that requires no one to compromise their values, identity or ways of loving.
All of this unfolds in a living relationship with the land. The retreat is rooted in the understanding that we are elemental beings, shaped by seasons, cycles and ancestral memory. In summer, the land invites us into openness, fertility, playfulness and connection. Much of what we struggle with in relationship does not originate with us alone, but through inherited and cultural patterns carried across generations. By working together in a natural, collective and seasonal context, healing is able to decelerate, soften and integrate more gently.
This is an invitation to fall back in love with each other, with the land, and with the simple pleasure of being alive together.

In this short video, Jewels guides a couple through a repeated conflict they experience and bring them back to connection. This is one of many methods I use when I work with you as a couple.
Your relationship style is honoured
I do not hold to a specific type or style of relationship. I honour what you have chosen as a couple and support you to make that thrive. And if the type of relationship you want has changed, I will explore that with you too and find new ways to create what you want together, so that both of you feel empowered in your choices.
I do not aspire to any particular expressions of sexuality, I welcome all aspects of expression and celebrate your unique and individual way of expressing your sexual being. My guiding principle is this:
‘As long as it is truly consenting, held with a loving heart and mutual respect then let’s explore!’

Practicals
We offer this retreat twice per year, please see the calendar for alternative dates if needs be. You are required to be here for the entire duration of the workshop.

Meals and drinks
During the workshop there will be hot drinks available all the time. Each evening we offer a homemade freshly prepared vegan feast, wheat free and organic where possible. Lunch is self catering, either bring and share or bring what you need for yourselves.
We begin each day at 9.30am and finish around 9.30pm. There are lots of breaks during this time and spaciousness. However there will not be time to do other things in the evenings. Please plan to be fully focused on the course to the end.

Transparency in how we work out what to charge
The EarthHeart project does not seek to make profit. It costs £70,00 a year to keep the project afloat (not including a wage for Jewels) we divide these costs between the various offerings over the year and this is how each offering is priced. We understand that some of what we offer may not accessible to everyone. We have some concession tickets and this relies on people who are able, to to pay the standard price tickets.
We aim to find a balance between covering the costs of EarthHeart and making the work accessible to those in genuine need. We are a small not for profit project so we are somewhat limited and we aim to do our best. Please consider seriously if you need a concession ticket and that if you take one and don’t need it the potential impact this might have of someone more in need.
