Bringing Ourselves Home

Self-care as a gift to collective evolution

How many times in your life do you turn away from sisterhood, telling yourself  ‘I don’t belong’?

Are you tired of the loneliness that comes with being ‘superwoman’?

What is it that stops you from setting aside time for yourself?

If these questions speak to your heart, then you are not alone.

Join me for a free call on Wednesday 5th June at 2pm.

In the call, I’ll be sharing what I’ve learnt from running almost 2 decades of women’s work, and the well-trodden path of the yearlong course ‘Initiation’ – and the big questions that I’ve found live in most women’s hearts.

The sacred work of disruption

Too often, we turn away from each other and the support and companionship that a circle of sisters offers. We are taught from an early age to put our needs at the bottom of the pile, to not ‘make a fuss’. We have been taught that needing help is weak.

I hear so many women say how they care and want to do something to help but feel so stretched to just do basic survival, pay the rent, feed the kids, and save up a little for a rainy day if they are lucky.

We forget to ask for what we need.

We forget even what it is that we need.

The tragedy is that self-care is an act of love not only for ourselves, but for our world. And at this threshold time, this radical act is sorely needed.

We live in times that call for the sacred work of  disruption. It’s hard to ignore what is going on in the world we share – from environmental devastation to political shambles – and the rise of loneliness, depression and anxiety. The work that’s needed to disrupt the old paradigm is deep, and in order to dive deep we need each other, to witness and to hold each other as we turn to face our shame, our rage, our fear.

The time of the lone wolf is over. We are being called to come together to co-create a new world, and as we resource ourselves more fully, we bring power and agency to the work we do in the world.

About the Call

Right now, radical self-care is called for. But we cannot and will not do it alone; to sustain new habits we need each other to remind us of our sacred commitment to our own hearts.

That’s why I’m offering this free call – I want to share what I’ve found to be the key gifts and benefits of working within a circle of sisters, to explore what commonly holds us back from joining such a circle. To open the box of fears and anxieties that keep us from truly meeting each other.

On our free call I will share

  • Three thresholds that women encounter as they walk a path towards deeper self-care.
  • Testimonials from women whose lives have changed since deep circle work with other women
  • A drum journey to meet the Winter Crone Woman, so you can ask her directly what it is you need to create for your own self-care.

Join me for a free call on Wednesday 5th June at 2pm.
